English Translation of Al-Quran
[37].Surah As-Saffat (Those Ranged in Ranks)
Ayat 58. (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)?
Ayat 59. "Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (After we have entered Paradise)."
Ayat 60. Truly, this (Paradise forever) is the supreme success!
Ayat 61. For the like of this let the workers work.
Tafseer of Surah As-Saffat (Those Ranged in Ranks) Ayat 58. "Is it (the case) that we shall not die, Ayat 59."Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?" After he realizes the great danger from which he narrowly escaped, his joy is so great that he can hardly believe it! Is the danger altogether past now? Are the portals of death closed forever? Is he safe now from the temptations which will bring him to ruin and punishment? (Cf, 44:56) Ayat 60. Verily this is the supreme achievement! The answer is: Yes. "Beyond the flight of Time, beyond the realm of Death. There surely is some blessed clime, Where Life is not a breath!" In the words of Longfellow this was an aspiration on this earth. In the Hereafter it is a realization! Some interpret verses 60-62 as a continuation of the speech of the man in heaven. The meaning would in that case be the same. Ayat 61. For the like of this let all strive, who wish to strive.
English Translation of Hadith
Hazrat Suhaib (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) said, "When the inhabitants of Jannah enter Jannah, Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, will say to them: `Do you wish me to give you anything more?' They will reply: `Have You not made our faces bright? Have You not brought us into Jannah and delivered us from the Hell?' And Allah will remove the Veil. The (dwellers of Jannah) will feel that they have not been awarded anything dearer to them than looking at their Rubb.''
[Muslim Book 01, Chapter 80, Hadith # 0347].
Lesson: as mentioned above in Surah As-Saffat Ayat 60. Truly, this (Paradise forever) is the supreme success!" The pious will see Allah without any trouble or difficulty. How shall we see Him, we cannot describe this even by any instance or parable. In Surat Ash-Shu`ra', Verse 11, it is said that there is nothing like Him. However, we cannot see Him in this world with these worldly eyes. Allah, the Exalted, says: "Verily, those who believe and do deeds of righteousness, their Rubb will guide them through their Faith; under them will flow rivers in the Gardens of Delight (Jannah). Their way of request therein will be Subhanaka Allahumma (Glory to You, O Allah!) and Salam (peace, safety from evil) will be their greetings therein (Jannah)! and the close of their request will be: Al-hamdu lillahi Rabbil-`Alamin [All the praises and thanks are to Allah, the Rubb of `Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)].'' (10:9, 10)
